| Abstract;Chemical peeling has become popular for medical as well as aesthetic treatment. In 2001, the 2001 Guidelines for Chemical Peeling of the Japanese Dermatological Association were proposed, and in 2004 they were was revised. Evidence-based medicine (EBM) enables clinicians to justify decision making, enhance the quality of medical practice, identify unanswered research questions, and ensure the efficient practice of medicine. Guidelines exist within the framework of EBM. Good guidelines are simple, specific, and user friendly, are based on research evidence, and present evidence. Here the reported research for the 2004 Guidelines for Chemical Peeling for Japanese from the view of disorders and skin conditions. (author abst.) |
