Abstract;In this paper, we describe our design of an infrastructure toolkit for realizing sustainable services, which can surmount various kinds of failures, including catastrophe. Our system consists of many federating computers. It enables the service to be sustained by making some of the computers run server functions, and the others share storing states of the service. And also our method is designed to be applicable for existing services by using virtual machines. (author abst.)
