| Abstract;The evaluation results of component coal and of the mixture are investigated by making direct observation of the softening and melting process by the high temperature NMR imaging method. The results are plotted on a graph with the horizontal axis with the amount of high mobility component observed by NMR at the maximum softening and melting temperature, and the vertical axis on the horizontal relaxation time of the high mobility component at the temperature. The map can explain the rapid heating effects of coal reasonably. This method is capable in evaluating coal as a single coal, and the softening and melting behavior can be evaluated quantitatively, and the mixing effects can be evaluated. Thus, the method is a useful evaluation method in practice. |
