| Abstract;A model for predicting precisely the reactions between slag and molten iron is developed for improving the efficiency of CaO and the dephosphorization ratio in the dephosphorization process of molten iron. The feature of the model is to insert the CO gas evolution rate (GCO) at the interfaces to the program as a function of the slag composition, which is iterated as a constant in conventional programs. The magnitude of GCO changes considerably with the advance of the dephosphorization reaction, and the oxygen activities at interfaces changes simultaneously. |
