| Abstract; The particle element method is highly expected as a simulation method for design support of powder processing, but the computation loads for the forces acting between particles is quite large, and it is almost difficult to simulate directly the behavior in a powder processing equipment. The present investigation emphasizes the cellular automaton method based on the simplified computation method of the forces between particles, and a process of one-component particles to flow out of powder storage. The simulation results agree well with experimental results. |
