| Abstract; For developing a measurement method of the heat capacity, thermal conductivity, and total emissivity from a half sphere without contact, an apparatus is proposed combined with static magnetic field and electromagnetic levitation technique. The apparatus has an electromagnetic levitation furnace in a superconducting magnet of the bore diameter of 220 mm, and the furnace is evacuated. The AC heating of the sample is conducted by irradiating semiconductor laser from the furnace top, and the sample temperature and the temperature responses of the AC components are measured by a two-color optical pyrometer. |
