Abstract;One of the effective utilization methods of waste Al is considered, and the production of high-pressure hydrogen directly and stably is planned. An experimental apparatus is set up which consists of a supply tank of aqueous solution of NaOH, liquid feeding pumps, a pre-heater, a reactor made of Hastelloy alloy, a cooler, and a separator. The analysis of gas generated is conducted by a gas chromatograph. The apparatus can produce hydrogen under a constant pressure, and this type of system seems to be beneficial for conserving global environments.
