Abstract;Transmission of holographic 3D images over computer network system has been studied in various manners, however, in the situation where adoption of network system is difficult to be made effectively, it should be required to study other possible transmitting techniques for holographic 3D images, such as the one of wireless transmitting process using amateur audio frequency band. In this paper, a transmission of holographic 3D images using infrared transmitter is investigated. In addition, by comparing the qualities of holographic 3D images reconstructed from the holograms before and after the transmission, the differences between them are found to be neglected. As a result, it is shown to be possible to carry over the transmission of holographic 3D images in high contrast with the help of infrared transmission. (author abst.)
