| Abstract;The case was in a 24-year-old woman, and there were non-inflammatory eruption of usual - white color (pimple) and inflammatory eruption (red papule). From 3 years before, papule on the face appeared, and after she entered the college 1 year ago, stress increases and the eruptions increased. She was under the treatment by antimicrobial agent and vitamin tablet by a dermatologist, but it was not improved, and she was examined in the dermatological department in the Tokyo Women's Medical College. Chemical pealing (CP) with glycolic acid 30%, pH 1.5, and peeling time of 1 minute - 1 minute 45 seconds, was performed every 2 weeks for 6 courses. An improving tendency was observed in the eruption from the 3rd course, and after the end of the 6th, the number of papules including pimples obviously decreased and eythema improved. Main eruption was pimple. From the action of the CP on the process of pimple formation, it was considered that sufficient effect could be expected for comedo mainly with pimples, and CP therapy was performed to result in the improvement of the symptom. In addition to the face, the treatment was similarly performed for precordia and back, which are the favorite sites of pimple, and remission of the symptom was observed. Comedo mainly with pimples is a mild symptom in acne. However, recently, the opportunity that the patients with such mild comedo visit the medical institutions are increasing, due to the increased skin beauty consciousness, including men. |
