| Abstract;Stress is related to the crisis and deterioration of acne. Stresses such as irritation, impatience and sleepiness may induce curage. By the guidance against curage, acne can be cured rapidly, and it is possible to prevent the recurrence. There are overwhelmingly many female acne patients, 85%, among those who are examined in dermatological ambulatory care. The 70% of them are adults, and the average age is 24-year-old. The stress related to school performance is strong under 20-year-old, and in the adult, stress in the work is strong. In the mental care of acne, the patient is asked about the factor which deteriorates the acne, and if stress is mentioned, the situation is heard in detail. The case was in a 22-year-old man, and acnes were generated on the face and lateral cervix. It was temporarily improved by the antimicrobial drug prescribed by a regional doctor, but recurrence was repeated. Afterwards, it gradually expanded in upper thorax and upper back and did not improve by drug intake, there was typical finding of habitual curage on the finger, and there were flare and pigmentation behind the ear, pigmentation around the eye and long transverse wrinkles on the cervix. The curage was immediately realized, when the habitual curage was explained. Antimicrobial drug and sleeping agent were prescribed, while conversion of action was indicated. After 2 months, the inflammatory eruption disappeared, and the internal use of antimicrobial drug was finished. There is no recurrence since then. In the group using mental care combinedly, there was remarkable improvement in the number of inflammatory eruptions, especially in early stage. |
