Abstract; The effectiveness of chemical peeling in acne treatment is highly evaluated in "the guidelines 2004". Comedo is the initial non-inflammatory eruption of acne, and it is a condition that keratin and sebum are stuffed up in the sebaceous follicle, hence chemical peeling which removes the horny layer is good indication. The case was in a 20-year-old woman, and in the initial examination, closed comedos and open comedos intermingled mainly in the cheeks, and a small number of inflammatory eruptions were recognized partly. About every 2 weeks, chemical peeling by glycolic acid was performed, and comedos almost disappeared at the end of 7 times. Treatment has been continued at present after 22 times, and the flare around the follicles are improved. In addition, the acne mainly by inflammation, the acne mainly by pustules, and the acne in which various conditions intermingled, are introduced. In the condition after the treatment, in which the horny layer is destroyed, it is necessary to cope with taking the possibility of invasion of stimulative substance, hapten and antigen into consideration. Also, it should be kept in mind that allergic contact dermatitis and contact urticaria by the reagent may be caused.
