Abstract;Catch of fisheries in Hiroshima Prefecture was decreased from 38 thousand ton/year on 1988 to 18 thousand ton/year on 2004. The catches of fish, shellfish and shrimp were all decreased. The main decreased fish and shellfish were anchovy, carnivore fishes and short-necked clam. The cause of anchovy decrease was unclear. The clam was decrease mainly in Fukuyama region, but the reason of the decrease was not examined yet. Shrimp was not decreased though the shrimps in other water were decreased. When examined, the shrimp was increased only in Fukuyama region but decrease in other region. The decreases in other regions were occurred with the increase of reclamation. (author abst.)
